Lake Mille
Lacs is over 200 square miles of Walleye fishing heaven.
18 miles long and almost 15 miles wide, Mille Lacs has a maximum depth
of only 45 feet. Most of the lake is under 20 feet deep.
These shallow waters
create a natural, self-supporting Walleye spawning habitat producing
literally millions of Walleye annually. That little fact, along with the wide
variety of underwater stuctures including the famous "mud flats,"
makes the Walleye fishing here phenomenal.
Mille Lacs has strong
populations of other cold-water game fish as well. Largemouth Bass, like the one pictured to the right, Northern, Musky,
Perch, Sunfish and Crappies all roam
these waters.
The Walleye, Musky
and Smallmouth fishing on Lake Mille Lacs is world class! If you don't
